Community Building
The IPI promotes the use of art, culture, sport, music and activism to inspire people.
We believe art and creativity are a vehicle for healing and collaboration
But these pursuits are also ways to connect, develop ideas, educate and change and they can be effective tools for mutual accountability, learning and communication
The IPI therefore seeks to create and promote:
- International spaces for people to connect and talk to one another, and to share messages and motivations. Bringing together artists, sports people, musicians and activists to interact with one another, to cross-pollinate ideas and create new opportunities and connections.
- The institution of an annual or biannual event to meet and plan ahead. A place for people to recharge and regenerate in a positive, cooperative and supportive environment.

A two-day protest and conference in February 2025 in Olso – co-organised by the IPI, Lay Down Your Arms Foundation – Nordic, European Palestinian Initiative Against Apartheid and Settlements (EPIAAS) and Fred og Rettferdighet (FOR), Norway
